I have seen 2 Outrun hand held games, and I'm not positive but I think an Outrun R-Zone Cartridge was released as well. I own the first, smaller one. It's about as dumb as all the other tiger hand-held games, though it's not exactly made by tiger, its probably the europian alias because the tiger electronics version is exactly identical. This game is CRAPPY, if you don't believe me go ahead and download some of the sounds from this game at the bottom of this section. It only has Magical Sound Shower, and it only plays it on Game Over! I have never seen the second one in my life, but Matt Parsons came along and emailed me a pic of this interesting toy. A small little bit of information for you about the handheld LCD
versions of Outrun while I have seen the small little handheld version
for sale (and yes it's crap) I do remember the bigger half car type of
version also being for sale by a company over here (in the UK) called
Argos (it's a catalogue shop) but from what I remember about it it was
for sale for something like £30ish which was far too expensive for what
again looked like another crappy LCD game :-(
